There are multiple ways to join the military. Be careful when researching your options - various options to enter the military affect your rank, pay, and benefits.

If you are enlisting right out of high school, you will talk with a recruiter from a particular military branch (Army, Navy, National Guard, Coast Guard, Marines, Air Force) and you will also take the ASVAB test.
