Wawasee partners with local community libraries to show students how to obtain access to eBooks for summer reading. Each Wawasee student is eligible for a free Evergreen card. Representatives from community libraries will work with schools to help students understand how to obtain a library card and check out eBooks through the community library systems. Wawasee school library eBooks will also be available for check out over the summer months.
Summer Weekly School Visit Times
To help support the summer take-home program, there will be an open evening, weekly, at each community’s school library. In Syracuse, it will be at Wawasee High School. Parents and/or their students will be able to come to any of the open sites to check out books and get help with their computer devices or have them repaired if necessary.
