The purpose of the Scholar Success Day is to assist 9th-12th grade Scholars with the required Scholar Success Program activities. All activities must be completed or the Scholar student will be at-risk of losing their 21st Century Scholarship. Students and parents/guardians will complete Scholar Success activities, attend workshops, and a resource fair. The workshops and resource fair will include information about the guidelines of the Scholars program, other scholarships offerings, and additional resources.

    What?

The 21st Century Scholarship program pays up to four four years of undergraduate tuition* at any participating public college or university in Indiana. If you attend a private college, the state will award an amount comparable to that of a four-year public college.

**The scholarship amount may be reduced depending on the availability of funds and the availability of the student’s family to contribute to college.

As a 21st Century Scholar, not only do you earn a scholarship, you get step-by-step help to make sure you succeed in college. Plus, once you get to college, 21st Century Scholars receive support to finish their degrees.

    Who?

Parents of current 7th and 8th graders may enroll in Indiana’s 21st Century Scholars program if your child meets the requirements. This scholarship is specific to families in need. Students must agree to be drug and alcohol free as well as follow through on various activities each year of high school. After graduation, students must enroll in an Indiana college or university in order to keep this scholarship.

    How?

    Wawasee Students Already Enrolled:

Beginning with the class of 2017, Scholars are required to complete the Scholar Success Program (SSP) activities each year in order to maintain scholarship eligibility. Scholars must log in to ScholarTrack to track their progress. Enrolled Scholars must first register for a ScholarTrack account before they are able to access their ScholarTrack portal.

The Guidance Department has created a Google Classroom to assist you in the completion of your activities each year. Completing assignments in the Google Classroom does NOT mean you have met program requirements. This MUST be done at the ScholarTrack website listed above. If you are currently a Wawasee High School student already enrolled in the 21st Century Scholar Program, then please contact your Counselor to get access to the Google Classroom.

If you have questions please post in the classroom and we will work to get the answers you need. It would be beneficial for you to share this information with your parents.
