Welcome to the Wawasee Transportation Department

At Wawasee Community Schools, we are proud to serve as the first connection to the school day and the final send-off each afternoon. Our Transportation Department is more than buses—we are a team of trained professionals who care deeply about student safety, well-being, and consistency.

Every day, our drivers and staff work together to ensure that students arrive safely, on time, and ready to learn. Whether transporting students to school, extracurricular activities, or special events, we are committed to making every ride a positive part of the Warrior Experience.

In an effort to provide increased safety in the transportation of our students to and from school, we have adopted the following new policies.

• One Pick Up / One Drop Off: Each student will be allowed one pick-up address in the morning and one drop-off address in the afternoon.
• Picking up students: If a student who typically rides the bus home must be picked up from school, a parent/guardian must call the school before noon.
• Get Togethers / Parties: Transportation to friends' homes for get-togethers, parties, and other group activities will not be available by school bus.
• Emergencies: Exceptions to transportation policies may be made in emergencies. Changes must be approved by the Principal and the Transportation Coordinator.
